✅ Legal requirements for raw materials
In order for a raw material to be used in cosmetic products, it must have the following analyses:
🔹 Microbiological analysis – confirmation that the raw material does not contain harmful microorganisms
🔹 Chemical analysis – testing of the composition and potentially present unwanted substances
🔹 Heavy metal analysis – confirmation that the raw material does not contain lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium above the permitted limits
🔹 Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) – a document with information on the safety and handling of the raw material
